Space Rental
Building Rental & Use Policy
We welcome members and the community to use our space for celebrations, gatherings, and events aligned with our values.
Rental Fees (4-hour block)
- Sanctuary: $750 (weddings), $300 (general use), $200 (memorial service)
- Upper Parish Hall: $100
- Lower Parish Hall: $50
- Kitchen: $50
Additional Costs
- The Minister has the right of first refusal for all ceremonies taking place in the church.
- Payment for the Minister, and/or Organist/Pianist is to be negotiated, and in line with UUMA suggestions and professional standards. .
- A Security Deposit of $100 or 25% of the rental fee (refundable if no damage or extra cleaning is needed).
Payment & Cancellations
- Half of the rental fee + security deposit due at booking.
- Balance due on the event date.
- Cancellations within 14 days may forfeit the deposit.
Key Rules
- No food or drinks in the Sanctuary.
- Use of piano/organ requires approval.
- Oven is for reheating only.
- No smoking inside.
- To enjoy wine, beer, champagne in moderation, and to monitor safe consumption of such beverages. The church does not provide a liquor license which authorizes renters to sell any alcoholic beverages. A liquor license will be the responsibility of the renter.
- To take lockup procedures seriously.

Parking
Each semester, First Parish rents parking space to Bridgewater State University students and staff. Click here for details on the most recent updates for the current semester, and to purchase a pass.
Please ensure your pass is displayed on your vehicle at all times. If you lose your pass, need to purchase another, or have questions, please contact our Office Administrator through the form below. Please note that our staff are only in the office once a week, so response time may be delayed. You may also call the church office at (508)697-2525 for more information
