Children & Youth

Twice a month, we provide welcoming, inclusive Religious Education for elementary age children. Our Childcare Provider helps younger children participate. On Sundays when we are not providing children’s classes, children are welcome to stay with their families in the main service. Families are also welcome to sign their kids into childcare, which is available in our downstairs children’s space.

Children’s Chapel is a time where our children are empowered to participate in their own spiritual space. We set up a small chapel area in our Lower Parish Hall children’s area. Children are engaged in opening words, chalice lighting, joys and sorrows, songs, stories, activities, discussions, projects, closing words, and extinguishing the chalice. Through our helping hands and loving hearts, we care for the earth and one another. Children are invited to attend without their parents, and parents are always welcome to join.

Once monthly, Religious Education volunteers offer a Kids in the Kitchen program. Children start upstairs in the main service, and then are sung to their programming. This time includes hands-on cooking, stories, and activities.

Youth are welcome to participate in our Sunday worship services and other congregational activities. We do not currently have a youth group or youth programming. Youth are welcome to join the congregation as a member once they turn 16.
